About Spoons and SpillsHi there! I’m Chelsea, a twenty-something Bay Area resident who knows her way around a kitchen. My love of cooking (and food, of course) stems from many days spent in the kitchen with my Nana. She was a sweet, southern lady with drawl and a mean molasses cookie recipe. She taught me to do everything in life with a whole lot of patience and love and perhaps most importantly, to never be afraid of making a mistake.

It’s her life-lessons and wisdom that led me to creating this blog. I hope that my recipes and real-life moments that I share through this blog inspire others to live a life of love, patience and fearlessness.
